Meet Ethan Humphrey and his irreverent world of animals

Content creator…

“My parents told me all the time as a child I would bring bugs into the house in my pockets, or fill buckets with crabs and snails at the beach,” with these words Ethan Humphrey remembers his passion for animals.

Born in New York, Humphrey, at 26 years old, has mixed his knowledge, love and humor for wild and marine animals and everything that has to do with the animal world.

From a very young age, Humphrey has showed his concern for offering a different perspective, which is why now, through digital platforms, seeks to reach the maximum number of followers to be able to interact and disseminate his content in a very peculiar way.

In our next interview and exclusively for perlarico.com, Meet Ethan Humphrey and his irreverent world of animals.

1. How did you become a content creator?
Ethan: I’ve always been interested in creating content, and only truly started a little after TikTok rolled out into the App Store. I was always fascinated with the way you could reach millions of people with just the click of a button and share your interests with others who share the same interests.

2. When did your passion for animals begin?
Ethan:  I’ve always had a passion for animals. My parents told me all the time as a child I would bring bugs into the house in my pockets, or fill buckets with crabs and snails at the beach. I honestly don’t remember a time where my mind wasn’t infatuated with wild life.

3. What is the objective of your publications?
Ethan: The goal I set in mind for my content stems from a young age. Growing up I hated school, class, exams… I always felt it was too focused on your next passing grade, and the next due assignments.

Ethan emphasizes, “In my opinion it took away from all the amazing topics and knowledge we had available to us. All the typical school requirements cast a huge shadow on the want to consume great information.”

During our conversation, Humphrey commented on the meaning of his publications, and how he stands out by his characterization in a very peculiar way of reporting, which could be irreverent for some people and vulgar for others.

4. You mention that your content is a bit vulgar, why do you point it out that way?
Ethan: Now the reason I took a vulgar twist with my content, saying things society is trying to censor, cursing, joking about sensitive topics, insulting the topics I’m teaching or even jokingly about my viewers. Was entirely to engage with people who were otherwise turned off by the strict “sit down and shut up”, textbook style of learning everyone is sadly used too. Hoping I could gain the attention of people who find that kind of humor funny.

5. Where do you want to go in the world of social networks?
Ethan: The goal I set in mind for my content stems from a young age. Growing up I hated school, class, exams. I always felt it was too focused on your next passing grade, and the next due assignments.

6. I see that your followers make comments on your posts, and most of them like your content. Did you know before starting that there was a community that is passionate about animals and this type of content?
Ethan:  I did know there was a community with the same passions as myself, as there’s a community somewhere that’s passionate about everything and anything. But I was for sure happy to watch my little piece of the internet reach those people and I can’t wait to take others along for the ride.

7. Who do you dedicate your success to on social media?
Ethan: Definitely a few of the greats that I grew up watching. Steve Irwin, Coyote Peterson, and Jeremy Wade. I’d die to enter the bite or sting zone with Coyote, or even fish with Jeremy Wade. Definitely a dream of mine.

Thank you for the interview Ethan and we hope you continue to grow in the digital world of social media with your unique character and stardom. Follow Humphrey’s journey over at all of his social networks Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
